1. Classroom experience
Officer Yunning is approachable and good at communication. Has a wonderful life experience and rich professional experience. His lecture was similar to a discussion, relaxed and happy, and free to ask questions. The start of the lecture was delayed by 30 minutes due to objective reasons, but the lecture time was extended by 50 minutes. All the students felt very happy, satisfied and benefited.
2. Talk about the Canadian police
Regardless of discrimination, hate crimes, domestic violence, or theft. You need to call the police first. The first person likely to be contacted is the police.
Canada's police are under the federal, provincial and municipal governments. They perform their duties according to the administrative divisions under their jurisdiction. Information is shared on the Internet. Every policeman can quickly obtain network information as needed when performing tasks.
Police Canada has one police officer per police vehicle. Equipped with a long and short gun with 108 rounds of bullets each. It is also equipped with stun guns, pepper water, body armor and other equipment. (Doubtful: Generally, the national police have to work in teams of two to perform tasks).
The salaries and benefits of the police are relatively generous, and the difference is related to the financial payment capacity of the respective governments. Generally, the salary of a policeman who has worked for 10 years is around 120,000 per year. Plus health cares for the whole family. Now more and more Asians, especially Chinese, are engaged in the police profession.
3. Canadian Judicial Philosophy
In the judicial process in Canada, from the police accepting cases, investigating, and prosecuting the court, to the participation of judges and lawyers in court hearings, to the final judgment, all are based on legal principles, not just facts. If the two contradict each other, jurisprudence prevails over facts. The Simpson case is a typical case.
4. Introduction to Hate Crime
Hate crimes are the subject of the introduction and discussion in the next lecture. This lecture is just a brief introduction.
Hate crime is the superposition of the two concepts of hatred and crime. For example:
It is not a crime for someone to hate Chinese people. Adding verbal attacks may constitute discrimination, and adding racial hatred for the purpose constitutes racial discrimination. But not necessarily a crime.
Someone hurt someone because of a quarrel. Possibly a crime but not a hate crime. It is a hate crime when someone hurts someone because they hate that person. If someone hates the Chinese, it is a racial hate crime if he only seeks to hurt the Chinese.

一、课堂体验
韵宁警官是一位平易近人，善于沟通交流的人。有着精彩的人生经历和丰富的职业经验。他的这堂讲座类似于座谈，轻松愉快，自由提问。因客观原因延迟了30分钟开讲，但是却延长了50分钟的讲座时间。学员都感到很愉快、很满足、很受益。
二、漫谈加拿大警察
无论遇到歧视、仇恨犯罪,不管是家暴、还是被盗。都首先需要报警。第一个可能接触的相关人员就是警察。
加拿大的警察分别隶属于联邦、省政府、市政府。他们依管辖的行政区划范围各司其职。信息是互联网互通共享。每一位警察都可以在执行任务时根据需要迅速获得网络信息资料。
加拿大警察每辆警车一名警察。配备长短枪各一支子弹108发。另配有电击枪、辣椒水、防弹衣等装备。(存疑:一般国家警察都要两人一组出勤执行任务)。
警察的工资和福利待遇较为优厚其差别与各自隶属的政府财政支付能力相关。一般工作10年的警察工资在12万/年左右。另有全家的医疗保健。现在亚裔特别是华裔从事警察职业的越来越多了。
三、加拿大的司法理念
加拿大在司法程序中，从警察接案、侦查、起诉大.到法官、律师参与法庭审理，到最终的判决,都是依据法理，而不是仅有事实。如果两者矛盾，法理胜于事实。辛普森案就是一个典型的案例。
四、仇恨犯罪的引言
仇恨犯罪是下一讲介绍和展开讨论的主要内容。这一讲仅作一个简单的提引。
仇恨犯罪，是仇视与犯罪两个概念的叠加。例如:
某人仇视华人不等于犯罪，若加上语言攻击可能会构成歧视，再加上以种族仇视为目的就构成种族歧视。但不一定构成犯罪。
因争吵,某人打伤了某人。可能属于犯罪但不是仇恨犯罪。若某人因为仇恨某人而打伤了某人，就是仇恨犯罪。若某人就是仇恨华人，而專尋滋打傷華人就旦是種族仇恨犯罪。
